I still remember the conversation that we had.
Some about girls, others about fish, some about the past.
The talk about the girls were relationships gone bad,
the fish were about what happened on the very last cast.
 
The talk about the past was of your youth
about all the crazy things you used to do.
You wouldn't lie to me,you always told the truth
like all the times you said I love you.
 
And when you past on and left us behind,
the whole family suffered from the pain.
We will always remember that face, so kind
your accomplishments, memories, and life will remain.
